Abstract
The article examines the question of how LGBTQIA+, originally a subversive narrative, became a normative for society as a whole. Based on Michel Foucault‘s concept of heterotypy, the sexological implications of deviance and normality are examined. The categorization of the sexual as a prerequisite for political legitimacy is considered in its consequences for empirical psychology and psychoanalysis. Trans and queer, as contemporary universals of sexual self-determination, are related to their historical role models in feminism and the gay movement. Postmodern leading pathologies are differentiated in this context. Matrial sustainability and queer defertilization of the sexual are discussed with a view to their consequences for „human capital“, digitalized living environments and demographic asymmetry.
