Abstract

The text provides an overview of the stages in the international discussion of consensus on sexual behaviour, including the media resonance that accompanied this discussion –especially after the adoption of the ‚Sexual Offence Prevention Policy‘ of Antioch College (Ohio, USA). Reference is also made to the context of sexual science in which this discussion was and is embedded. Against the background of the pitfalls of a consensus orientation resulting from its proximity to liberal-political consensus models, this forms the basis for considerations of how consensus-oriented sex education for children and adolescents can be provided within the framework of the sociological model of sociocracy.
